Description

WHITAKER 100% SOLIDS EPOXY

High-build flood coat epoxy system for decorative and encapsulation applications.

A true 100% solids, self-leveling epoxy designed for pour-on, high-gloss flood coat applications. Ideal for countertops, bar tops, encapsulation layers, and decorative surface builds requiring depth and clarity.

This is a pour-on system — not a spray-applied refinishing topcoat.

Best Used For: Bar tops, decorative countertops, encapsulation builds, high-gloss flood coats.

Important Notes

  • Large mass = faster reaction = shorter pot life
  • Epoxy will amber over time in sunlight
  • Not recommended for exterior use without UV urethane topcoat
  • Test on sample surface before major project
PRODUCT NOTE — KLEAR KOTE PLUS™ (UV Protection)

Whitaker offers two hardener/catalyst options. We only stock and support the PLUS version: KLEAR KOTE PLUS™ with added UV protection to help delay indoor ambering/yellowing over time.

Important: All epoxies can amber with UV exposure. For maximum long-term clarity in brighter areas, consider a UV-inhibited urethane topcoat.

If you have questions about compatibility or best-use scenarios, call us — we’ll route you to the right finish system fast.
