NAKED GUN® • PROFESSIONAL SPRAY GUN CLEANER / PAINT REMOVER
Internal Gun Stripper • Not Reducer • Not Gun Wash
Removes cured urethane • epoxy • lacquer • primer • waterborne build-up
Two Ways to Rescue a “Dead Gun”
NAKED GUN® is a professional-grade internal spray-gun stripper designed to dissolve hardened, cross-linked coatings from fluid passages and metal components—areas brushes and standard flush solvents can’t reach. If your gun is spitting, sticking, patterning weird, or constantly clogging, this is the chemistry that brings it back.
ULTRA • Dip / Soak Formula
Best for deep internal stripping (shop-grade)
Designed to remove hard, cured paint build-up from metal components with controlled dwell time. Ideal for repeat use in the shop on needles, nozzles, air caps, and internal metal parts.
Use when: The gun is beyond “flush solvent” and needs a true strip/soak to restore performance.
DOUBLE SHOT • Aerosol
Best for fast field cleanups (precision spray)
Premium aerosol delivery for fast targeted cleaning on both solvent and waterborne paint. Great when you need speed and convenience—no dipping equipment required.
Use when: You want fast “spray + wipe + go” cleaning without setting up a soak station.
WHAT IT DOES
Dissolves cured paint films inside gun bodies, needles, nozzles, air caps, and fluid passages.
WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
Not thinner. Not reducer. Not a rinse. It’s a true chemical stripper for “too-late” gun cleanups.
WHAT IT FIXES
Trigger sticking • spitting • fan collapse • needle drag • chronic clogs • inconsistent patterns.

Real-world note: If it’s cross-linked inside the gun, standard flush solvents often won’t touch it. Naked Gun is built for that exact “dead gun” situation.
How to Use (By Package Type)
DOUBLE SHOT • Aerosol
Best for quick field cleanups & immediate blow-out
- Relieve pressure and remove paint cup/container.
- Remove air cap and wipe loose material first (don’t waste chemical on chunks).
- Target metal passages (fluid inlet / accessible passages) as allowed by your gun design.
- Let dwell briefly to soften build-up, then wipe/brush lightly.
- Reassemble and test spray with a compatible rinse solvent if needed.
Pro Tip: Don’t flood seals. Keep the chemistry focused on metal areas you can access safely—this product is strong.
ULTRA • Gallon
Best for metal-part soaking and repeat shop use
- Disassemble the gun (needle, nozzle, air cap, metal fittings).
- Soak METAL parts only in a suitable metal tray/container.
- Allow dwell time until cured film softens and releases (shop users often see strong results within the hour, depending on build).
- Brush lightly (nylon/brass brush) to lift softened residue.
- Rinse thoroughly, dry completely, then reassemble and test spray.
Best practice: After stripping, do a final rinse/flush with your normal gun-cleaning solvent to remove any residue before your next spray job.
ULTRA • 5 Gallon + Dip Basket
Best for busy shops servicing multiple guns
IMPORTANT: Soak METAL components only. Do not soak plastic cups, gaskets, soft seals, or O-rings.
- Break down the gun to the metal components that need stripping.
- Load the dip basket and submerge parts fully.
- Lift / drain using the basket—no digging parts out by hand.
- Brush lightly if needed, then rinse and dry completely.
- Reassemble and test—pattern and trigger feel often improve immediately.
Shop Tip: Make this part of your weekly “equipment rescue” routine—dirty guns cause more finish failures than people realize.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY / COMPATIBILITY NOTES
- This is a chemical stripper. Use proper PPE and ventilation and follow manufacturer safety directions.
- METAL PARTS ONLY for soaking. Keep away from plastics, rubber seals, soft gaskets, and O-rings.
- Test if unsure on specialty components, coatings, or sensitive finishes.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembly to prevent contamination of your next spray job.
