Description
SWAT Solvent Wipe All Traces
Final-step solvent wipe for professional surface prep — designed to remove what “standard solvent wipes” leave behind.
Why SWAT Exists
Most “solvent wipes” move dirt around. SWAT is built to pull contaminants out and help create a dry, bond-ready substrate before sanding, silanes, primers, or topcoats.
Performance Highlights
- Removes hidden residues standard wipes commonly leave behind
- Attacks silicone oils, waxes, polishes, and “mystery grime”
- Kinetic drying action helps pull moisture from porous areas & grout lines
- Cleaner sanding — reduces grinding contaminants into the surface
What It Prevents
- Fisheyes & repellency from silicone residue
- Blushing / haze from trapped moisture and contaminants
- Adhesion failures caused by poor wetting
- “Looks good today / fails later” callbacks
Where Pros Use It
- Bathtubs, tile walls, soap dishes & silicone cut-lines
- Countertops (porcelain, ceramic, composites)
- Cabinets & greasy kitchens (pre-mask / pre-primer)
- Fiberglass, cultured marble, ABS & other composites
Results You Can See
- Often shows up on the rag as “extra” contamination after standard wiping
- Helps coatings and primers wet out more consistently
- Supports stronger bonding performance for silanes and primers
Simple Professional Use
- Cut / remove heavy silicone first where applicable.
- Apply SWAT (spray or saturated rag). Wipe in one direction.
- Flip to a clean side of the rag often — don’t re-deposit contamination.
- Let surface flash off to a clean, dry feel.
- Proceed with sanding / silane wipe / primer per your system.
Choose SWAT for a Clean, Dry, Bond-Ready Substrate
Not a gimmick. A true surface-prep advantage — built for professional refinishers who want fewer problems and stronger bonds.

Swat
I’ve used many different products to remove adhesives and silicone. Everything from M.E.K, Goof Off, and lacquer thinner, to rubbing alcohol and mineral spirits. Everything I could find. Nothing compares to swat. I love using it for my final wipe down before spraying because I know it’s going to work. Highly recommend this product.

SWAT
Received my sample of swat this morning. Went to a vacant job I had lined up the soap residue melted off and not only cleaned away with ease but was so clean it squeaked after I let dry for about 6 minutes. This tub was fiberglass had been refinished before. The customer just wanted a refinish No stripping. Did not flash the feathered edges up. I ran a small amount around the tile and my tape stuck extremely good when I masked the tub off. Great product! A little goes a long way.

SWAT
As a professional in bathtub refinishing, I rely on high-quality products to ensure a flawless finish, and SWAT Solvent Wipe has become an essential part of my process. This slow-evaporating solvent is highly effective at removing tough residues, including silicone, oils, dirt, and grease, which can interfere with adhesion and final results. What sets SWAT apart is its controlled evaporation rate, giving me enough working time to thoroughly clean surfaces without it flashing off too quickly. Unlike some harsher solvents, it doesn’t leave behind a chalky or streaky residue, which is crucial for a smooth, professional-grade refinish. I also appreciate that it’s powerful without being overly aggressive on most surfaces, making it a reliable choice for prepping tubs, tile, and other refinishing projects. If you're in the refinishing business and need a dependable cleaner for surface prep, SWAT is a must-have in your toolkit. Highly recommended!
